Each shawl is hand woven in our rare Chocflock wool, yarn spun from the fleeces of my flock of Castlemilk Moorit sheep and others, blended with Shetland and hand-dyed in a limited palette of shades reflecting the coastal Scottish scenery around us.
The Sufu
Echoing a traditional East African kikoy design, the Sufu (kiswhahili for ‘woollen’) blanket is a substantial wrap, made to withstand the rigours of life in any country.
The Huck
The Huck shawl features panels of huck weaving technique to give texture and drama to this beautiful plaid design in the Chocflock palette of colours.
Particularly beautiful in natural light - suiting the bright sun of Africa as readily as the soft light of Scotland.
The Yebo
The Yebo shawl design was inspired by the birth of a very special elephant calf in the Kenyan bush.
Every sale of this limited edition shawl will include the adoption for a year of an orphan elephant.
The rich earthiness of the colours in the shawl reflect the base shade of the yarn - the mocha tones of the blended ‘chocolate’ Castlemilk moorit fleeces and natural creamy Shetland fleeces.

Inspired by the colours of the countryside around us and handwoven by Rebecca on her rigid heddle loom here on the farm.
These scarves are as individual as you. No two are ever the same. Combining the Chocflock signature palette in tasteful combinations.
Handwashed and then pressed to give a soft finish. Every scarf features a button declaring them to be ‘Rare Treasure’.
Plaited in the tassles at one end of the scarf is a loop to snag the button and to simplify how to wear the scarf, removing the need for a bulky knot.

The pure wool fabric has been hand-woven in the Borders of Scotland by a professional weaver in the classic Chocflock palette of colours.
